Drain Tracing Dye is used for detecting the flow of water in Drains or Pipes, identifying individual Drain Runs into a common gully, and Tracing Leaks in Drains.

How much to use

Use 10ml of Dye per 10 litres of cold water. A 200gram Jar will trace up to 15,000 litres in chemical free water.

Mixing the Dye

The best method is to mix the Dye into a bucket of cold water, then add to the flow of water in the drain or pipe.

Sizes and Colours available

Drain Tracing Dye is supplied in 200gram and 100gram Polyjars.
Colours available are GREEN, RED, ORANGE, YELLOW and VIOLET.

100% Green Fluoresceine Drain Tracing Dye is also available in a 3 kilo Polyjar.

What is the Dye made of, and is it safe to use ?

Green Dye in both 200gram and 100gram Polyjars contains 50% Fluoresceine. The other colours are made from 100% food grade products.

Dyes are non-toxic and odourless. They are approved by the National Rivers Authorities, Water Companies and Local Authorities.
