For testing pipes made of steel, cast iron, concrete,
clay or plastic up to 6bar.
When operating at these high pressures, it is vital that the Internal Diameter of the Pipe is measured accurately before ordering the Plug. Supplied as a Set, or individually. Test End has a Firehose connection, Test Gauge, and upper port for releasing air trapped in the Pipe. Blank End has a single port. Supplied in a single section as standard. Larger sizes of Plug can be manufactured in 2 sections (as photograph) or more sections for ease of access where the manhole is of a smaller diameter than the pipe to be tested. Once in the Pipe, the sections of the Plug are easily bolted together. Prices listed are for single section Plugs. Prices for multi-section Plugs on application. It is vital that these Plugs are suitably braced before testing commences to avoid injury to testing personnel. |
