Socket Testing Devices for Circular and Egg Shaped Pipes. Type 930.

For pressure testing of pipe joints and sockets for all
sizes of pipe. Complete with transport carriage with 2 pair of wheels,
and foot pump for inflating the Rubber Seals. Wheels are also used for
centralising the Device in the pipe before inflating the Rubber Seals.
For the smaller Socket Testing Devices, 200-600mm, as it is not practical for a man to work in the pipe, we recommend 3 pairs of wheels are used as this prevents the Device tipping over when being pulled by a rope. A Set of 3 Hoses as an optional extra is available for these smaller Devices. The 8 metre hoses are for pumping air into the Rubber Seals, pumping water into the Testing Area, and venting exhaust air from the Device. A manual Water Pressure Pump is also available for use in situations where there is no mains water pressure for conducting the water test. Larger sizes of these Devices can be manufactured in 2 or 3 sections for ease of access where the manhole is of a smaller diameter than the pipe to be tested. Once in the Pipe, the sections of the Device are easily bolted together. Prices listed are for single section Devices. Prices for multi-section Devices on application. |
