Twin Port Steel Test Plugs - Single Seal

Easy to use, cost effective Test Plug for Water Testing
of sanitary pipes and sewers. Supplied with a Two Outlets. Upper Port allows
air trapped in the Pipe to be easily released as the water level fills
up for the Test. Speeds up the Testing Process.
Water can then be safely released through the Lower Port after the Test, minimising the risk to operators. Available from 425mm up to 2,000mm. Larger on request. Please always advise the actual internal diameter of the pipe to be tested. Main construction is mild steel, painted with aluminium
paint to prohibit rusting. Back Pressure Plate is welded to the Outlet
to give a gas tight seal.
Plugs 600mm and over are fitted with Lifting Handles for ease of location in the Pipe. Gate Valves, Pressure Guages can now be supplied together with Hose Connections for quick filling. Double and Triple Seal Plugs are available for greater stability in the Pipe. Appropriate bracing or support will substantially increase the ability of the Plug to hold back higher pressures. |
